I think that patriotism still matters because the people who fight for our country are dieing and they deserve some respect. Also they work hard to protect our customs and traditions that we keep. Soldiers protect us from terrorists from Iraq who hate us for our religion. they protected us in all the wars we were ever in and they help people in wars who need it. Those are some of the reasons that patriotism still matters.

    You really need to editing and come up with a topic sentence. Go into more detail about the Iraq statement.
