Two Majesties poem
Inspired by the Two Majesties
The sun is burning when I gaze upon it. Its reddish orange hue staining the beautiful landscape. Nothing is stirring in my kingdom. The sapphire ocean is serene. I am companionless as I watch the Great King of the sky sink into the water. He is the only one who understands me. He is the only other substance that I have seen alone. Forgotten we both sink to our places for twilight.

  1. What beautiful word choice! I love your idea of being "companionless," that two powerful beings can be so alone.

  2. I agree with Mrs. Reagles the word choice was brilliant and the sense setting was amazing as well.
