Two Majesties poem
Inspired by the Two Majesties
The sun is burning when I gaze upon it. Its reddish orange hue staining the beautiful landscape. Nothing is stirring in my kingdom. The sapphire ocean is serene. I am companionless as I watch the Great King of the sky sink into the water. He is the only one who understands me. He is the only other substance that I have seen alone. Forgotten we both sink to our places for twilight.

What beautiful word choice! I love your idea of being "companionless," that two powerful beings can be so alone.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mrs. Reagles the word choice was brilliant and the sense setting was amazing as well.
ReplyDeleteU should do more like this with the moon and the wind and stufff
